My Introduction to Student Leadership
During my terms as Media Senator for the Rutgers-Newark Student Governing Association, I've been able to make a positive impact on campus and work on a number of initiatives that helped build and develop me as a person and as a leader. I launched the first official SGA website in Rutgers-Newark history and grew the organization's Instagram using data and consistent content.
As Chief of Finance, I manage a $200,000 per-semester budget, allocate funding to 70+ student organizations, and built a web portal from scratch using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL to track points within the university's tiered funding system. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and student advocacy — exactly where I want to be.

Air Force ROTC
Detachment 490 — NJIT
Joining Air Force ROTC in Fall 2025 has been one of the most formative decisions I've made. The program holds me to a higher standard every day, and I've grown into it fast.
I started as a Nighthawk News Assistant writing monthly newsletters for my fellow cadets, then moved to Social Media Assistant running the Detachment 490 Instagram — growing it 3,000% in outreach with overall profile activity up 152%.
Recently, I was elected Squadron Commander of Arnold Air Society, where I'm responsible for developing and implementing a candidate training program and coordinating community service events.

Metaverse Club
Leading My First Research Project
I co-founded the Rutgers-Newark Metaverse Club and have served as its President. We earned official recognition in Spring 2026 and have grown to a general body of 80 students.
Our mission is to give undergraduates hands-on research experience in the Metaverse and Web3 space, and to build computer literacy and cybersecurity awareness on campus. We operated under IRB compliance for our research projects, which put us in serious academic territory for a student club. It's one of the things I'm most proud of building from the ground up.

Crisis Response & Conflict Resolution
I've spent the past two years living and working in the residence halls at Rutgers-Newark, first as a Resident Assistant and now as a Community Assistant supporting a community of 324 students.
This role has pushed me to grow as a communicator and problem-solver — whether that's mediating a conflict at midnight, running a program for the floor, or keeping the administrative side of things moving. Being promoted to CA for FY 2026-2027 is something I'm proud of.

Rock 'N' Air Adventure Park
My First Leadership Role
My time at Rock N Air is one of my greatest accomplishments as a worker. Through hard work, I earned the position of Shift Lead, which allowed me to grow as a leader and as a person.
I gained a lot of organizational skills as well as experience in very fast-paced and chaotic environments. I had important responsibilities like opening and closing the park, assigning breaks, and I even developed the closing procedures that are still used today.
